Please mark your calendars for Fall Fest 2023! Fall Fest is our annual Fall FUNdraising event held at Shepherd Elementary (7800 14th St. NW). This year the event will be held on Sunday October 29, 2023 from 12 pm - 4 pm. It will feature bounce houses, a DJ, a game truck, carnival games, arts & crafts, concessions, and new this year - A Costume Contest! Judging for the costume contest will start at 2 pm and include 3 categories:
- Under 8
- 8 and Up
- Adults
The funds raised will support Shepherd Elementary, helping to provide resources for teaching, money for field trips, and making improvements to the facilities, among other things.
Before you buy your tickets, please consider volunteering for the event. It takes a small village to execute the event and we'll need volunteers for set up, clean up, concessions, ticket sales, activities, line monitoring and more. We also would welcome middle/high school volunteers in need of service hours. If you know a student volunteer who would like to participate, please ask them to email [email protected] with their name and hours of availability instead of using the Volunteer button below. The Committee will find appropriate tasks for student volunteers.
Online ticket sales closed at noon on Saturday, October 28th. But you can still purchase tickets "at the door" on Sunday. Pricing for activities and concessions can also be found below. We hope to see you there!
